Sugar Matte As Hell Lip Crayon In 04 Holly Go Lightly

Hello Beauties,

Hope you are all doing great! Today will be a review of our  favourite lip product in the whole wide world “Sugar Matte As Hell Lip Crayon in the Shade 04 Holly Go Lightly! The first time we came across this beauty was through Fab Bag and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! Even though both of us are not that into lighter shades of lipsticks, we just couldn’t resist falling for this one! So, before we spill the beans ; lets get into the review

Price: INR 799

Ingredients:
Dimethicone, Diisostearyl Malate, Synthetic Wax, Distarch Phosphate, Polybutene, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Caprylyl Methicone, Dimethylimidazolidinone Rice Starch, Glyceryl Caprylate, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Silica, Isoceteth – 10 May Contain: C.I. Nos. 45410, 15850, 19140What the company says?:  Want to pull off dramatic eyes and come out as a winner? Holly Golightly is the way to go! This peachy shade goes well with elaborate eye make-up & can also be used every day for a natural look.

Packaging: A chubby pencil that comes with a black cap and the lower part showcases the colour. Even though the packaging is not as colour coded, you will easily be able to access it in your vanity! WE love how Sugar makes it a point to send sharpeners along for free because The pencil needs to be sharpened and its difficult to find good sharpeners! It doesn’t look or feel tacky and is off course, travel friendly!

Colour: Holly Go Lightly is a gorgeous pinkish nude with a very coral-ly/peachy vibe to it. It is a universally flattering shade; may appear an earthy pink on few while on others it may look like a nude and on some skin tones its a MLBB shade! Nevertheless, its a must-have shade as you can never go wrong with it! Team it up with a dark Smokey eye or just use it as an everyday colour, its too versatile! It doesn’t have any noticeable scent  though

(Please don’t mind my skin here.. I am having EXTREMELY dry skin issues at the moment!)

Texture: It has a very soft texture which glides on the lips buttery smooth; however we recommend using a lip balm always to avoid chapping or an unappealing look! Its a matte which looks creamy when applied however, we do find that it after a few hours it begins to peel especially if you have layered it on a couple of times! It is quite comfy to wear though and doesn’t dry out the lips!

Colour Pay off: Absolutely love the pigmentation as you do not need multiple swipes for the colour to show up! One swipe for pink lips and two for pigmented lips! Also, we have noticed that even after building up the colour doesn’t make it any deeper , it looks just the same as it did with one swipe!

Lasting Power: This lipstick lasts for about 5-6 hours! It transfers just a tiny bit, nothing too drastic and does not survive meals, leaving a nice hint of colour on the lips, its not that obvious though!

Mommy Verdict:
Both of us love Sugar Matte As Hell Lip Crayon in Holly Go Lightly as its super flattering on Indian skin tones, is a matte that doesn’t dry your lips out and is too versatile of a colour as it can be teamed up with any look! Both of us own this beauty and will keep repurchasing it 😉
