Sleek Blush in Rose Gold Review and Swatches!

Hey Beauties,

How is the weather treating you! New Year is right around the corner.. are you excited? 🙂 Lets talk cheeks today ♡

I am a complete Blush hoarder and just cannot do without that perfect blush. I need to have every colour in my vanity no matter what! I absolutely love wearing blushes even if  I am not wearing any other makeup. So while I was looking out for a more coral-ly shimmery neutral blusher, because majority of the shades I own are pinks and mattes! While googling, I found the Sleek Blush in “Rose Gold”.  “Rose Gold” sounds like music to my ears and I knew I had to get this! Also, it is supposedly a dupe of the NARS Orgasm blush, did I need any reasons further? 🙂

Price: This baby is priced at 5.99 pounds

Ingredients: Mica, Talc, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Pentaerythrityl Teraisostearate, Nylon-12, Magnesium Stearate, Jojoba Esters, Dimethicone, Polyethylene, Phenoxyethanol, Chloroxylenol May Contain [+/- CI. 77891, CI. 15850, C1 45410, CI. 77360, CI. 19140, CI. 15985, CI. 77492, CI. 77491, CI. 77499 CI 77742]

What the product says: Our 10 shade strong blushers are highly pigmented and long lasting, giving you an all over even dewy radiant glow.

Our versatile range of shades enable you to create a variety of stunning looks. Blush in Rose Gold is a rosy pink with gold shimmer ideal for all skin tones and offers a golden pink highlight.

Packaging: As the brand name suggests, the packaging is sleek and classy! The blush comes encompassed in a compact black case with a tiny in built mirror. It is super handy and can be easily carried around in your handbag! The packaging is quite similar to NARS but a little more fancier in my opinion! Sleek is written on the top while the bottom has the shade name with other details listed!

Colour: The colour is a beautiful peachy coral shade with pink undertones and shimmer particles to add that dewy glow to the skin. It is a beautiful shade that any skin tone can pull off with ease! My ideal pick to pair up with dark smoked out eyes and a nude lip! The quantity offered is huge as well, I have had this blush for over a year know and I still have alot left! Maybe my future daughter will end up using it as well. LOL. The camera isn’t picking up the color like it should 🙁

Texture: Even though, the sleek blush has shimmer it doesn’t feel gritty or grainy. It applies evenly without looking patchy or unappealing! I love the glow it adds to my skin and I tend to avoid using a highlight when I wear this beauty! The best part? It looks super natural and doesn’t make your skin look like you have oodles of makeup on!

Pigmentation: The Sleek Blush in Rose Gold scores a 10 on  10 in this department. It is immensely pigmented, one swipe and you have beautifully blushed and highlighted cheeks! Quite a multi-tasker I say!
Longevity: The blush is more of a party/night time colour for me . It does last for a good five hours. Pretty decent in my opinion!

Mommy Verdict: Overall, I am pretty happy with the Sleek Rose Gold blush as it is priced reasonably and is an ideal shade to pull off with heavily done eyes and nude lips! I love how it saves you the trouble of highlighting and how it doesn’t look unnatural! Love it!

Is it a dupe of the NARS Orgasm blush?

To be honest; it isn’t really a dupe for Orgasm. It does look similar but the way it goes on your skin is entirely different from what the NARS blush looks like! It falls in the same genre as NARS but is a tad lighter! Your opinion may differ in this regard though!

Mommy Rating: 4.8/5
