My take on the product:

There is something so eco-friendly yet cute about Mama Earth packaging that I love! They have a unique combination of Green and white colors with an adorable sheep print, that tends to grab every child’s attention at a glance. However, due to similar packaging of products, I often get confused with what product I’m using, I always feel the need to check the label to find what I’m picking out as I own quite a few baby products from the brand(confessions of a mommy hoarder).

So, the packaging of the MamaEarth hair oil is a medium sized plastic bottle with a pump dispenser, which makes a mommies life so much easier as it allows control of product and does not let the product spill out, when the baby is fiddling around with it during his champi session. The cap sits there tightly and it comes with an additional protection on the inside i.e. a transparent plastic cap, making the product completely spill proof hence, giving mommies the confidence to carry it around anywhere without worrying about messing up their bags!

The oil is transparent with a very light weight non-sticky texture, which I really like as it gets washed off pretty easily the next day, which is not the case with heavier oils as they take forever or a minimum of three washes to completely get out from the hair. However, if you tend to go overboard with oils, then this might also leave some oily residue behind. It has a very mild yet a very herbal scent to it, which is not bothersome but definitely not something that will make everyone’s noses love it, i feel it could be a little baby-ish!! I love how it has a combination of some of the best oils out there that include coconut oil, sesame oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil and almond oil. It is free of preservatives, sulphates and parabens too, which scores a BROWNIE POINT from our side!

Overall Verdict: Overall, the MamaEarth Nourishing Hair Oil For Baby has been doing a great job when it comes to keeping my baby’s hair moisturized and delivers all the nourishment without feeling too oily or greasy! I often let this sit in his hair overnight as I am assured that hazardous is going on my child’s head due to the chemical free formulation. For mommies who love eco-friendly products “MamaEarth” has an answer to all your woes!
