Hello Loves!!!

Concealers play such a major role in perfecting your makeup!! It is one product that can take your look notches higher by covering up all those pesky imperfections! However, finding a good concealer may not be as fun; especially when nothing seems to covers up your not-so-pretty panda eyes!! I heard a lot of Youtubers including Shreya Jain and Komal (Delhifashionblogger) rave about the Kryolan Dermacolor Camouflage Cream and really wanted to try it out! So, on a visit to Kathiawar Stores recently, I finally got hold of this baby, and have been using it since!!

My Review Of The Product:

The Kryolan Deramcolour camouflage creme comes in a tiny white tub with a white screw cap, holding the product nice and intact! Tub packaging repels me as it needs you to dip your fingers in each time; which is unhygienic! The product being really tiny, doesn’t take up a lot of space in your makeup bags i.e. its travel-friendly! The quantity however is huge as I have been using it for quite a few months and you can barely see a dent in the product! Its going to last me for a really long time, for sure!

Coming down to the texture, the concealer has quite a thick texture and can seem a bit drying if you do not use it with a primer or moisturizer beneath! It thickens up in winters while the texture is a lot blendable in summers! This is hands-down a full coverage concealer which can be used as a foundation as well! Little goes a long way with this product! It will cover up the darkest of under-eyes and tattoos as well.

I however prefer using this as a concealer more than a foundation as it is quite a task to blend it in and takes up a lot of time! However, when applied correctly, it will give that air brushed finish no foundation can match! As a concealer, it just instantly brightens the under-eye area and covers up all your flaws making your skin look healthy and seamless! Also this is water-proof and sweat-proof when set nicely, which is great! You anyway want to set it with a powder so your face doesn’t bleed foundation and leave ugly patches behind!

I used it as a foundation for my son’s birthday and it lasted on me for eight hours after I sealed all the makeup in with a setting spray! As a concealer, it lasts about 10 hours, you will need a bit of touching up though, as it can crease a bit! You should take your time to build the colour up to your liking, as smearing too much in will result in a cake face!

Overall, I really like the Kryolan Dermacolor camouflage cream as it covers all my imperfections and makes my skin appear flawless! It is a bit pricey in Hyderabad though however you only need a little bit each time! It’s a great pick for oily skinned beauties however, being drying in nature I suggest dry skinned beauties to give it a pass!

Tips while using this product:

1. Use a damp sponge to blend the product into your skin; its ideal to warm the camouflage creme between your fingers for a bit to make the texture a bit creamier.
2. Pick up little colour and put it at the back of your palm, use it with a concealer brush.
3. Always warm up the product to help it work better! This is a great trick to try with products that tend to thicken up!
