Get Clean and Fresh Smelling Hands with Himalaya PureHands Hand Sanitizers – Review

Hello Gorgeous People!

Hope all of you are having a great day!

Maintaining a good hygiene is such a necessity especially when you have kids around! Hand sanitizers are such an essential in my purse that I just cannot leave home without them, especially because I have a baby who might need a nappy change on-the-go or just when he has messed up and I need something to clean my hands when I don’t have access to H2O!!

Sanitizers are great help when you need an instant fix to clean your hands before having a meal or have used a public place. I used to love the Bath and Body Hand Sanitizers and would carry them around everywhere; however, pretty recently I made a switch to “Himalaya PureHands Hand Sanitizers” and these babies have stolen my heart and been a patent in my handbag since!

About The Product:

The first of its kind, Himalaya’s PureHands is an effective,alcohol-based hand sanitizer, which kills 99.9% of germs, prevents infection, and ensures total hand hygiene.

PureHands contains extracts of herbs like Coriander, which have potent antimicrobial properties and Lime, which is a natural bactericidal. In addition, the active ingredients of Neem, which are antibacterial, fungicidal and antiviral, safely keep viruses, bacteria and fungi at bay.

Ingredients:

Hrivera is a strongly aromatic herb, which has antibacterial, deodorizing and cooling properties. It also softens hands.

Coriander is derived from the oil of a herb called Oil Coriandrol. The fruits of the herb possess antimicrobial and astringent properties.

Lime is a rich source of vitamin C. It protects the skin from oxidative damage and helps prevent itching. The oil of lemon warms the skin when applied externally. The juice also has bactericidal and astringent properties.

Ushira is an astringent and antibacterial herb. When applied externally, it removes excess heat from the body and provides a cooling effect.

Neem extracts possess antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. The tree stem, root and bark have astringent, tonic and antiperiodic properties. Neem is used to treat skin diseases.

How to Use:

Squeeze approximately 0.5 ml (coin-sized drop) of the gel on your palms. Rub well over the palms, back of hands, fingernails and grooves briskly, until dry. No water is required after use.

PureHands is absolutely safe for regular use. It contains moisturizers that prevent skin irritation and dryness. The product has been clinically tested, and its safety and efficacy is proven.

The Flavors I own:

Litchi

Strawberry

Green Apple

Lemon

Orange

My Take on the Product:

The Himalaya PureHands Hand Sanitizers are neatly packed in transparent plastic bottle which helps the product peep through with a green flip top cap, making it convenient to squeeze the product out. The packaging is kept really simple, and I love everything about it screams “NATURAL”. Also, the cap closes up pretty tightly avoiding any spillage making the sanitizers super travel-friendly.

The consistency of the Himalaya PureHands Hand Sanitizers is neither too watery nor too thick, and you need less than a pea-sized amount to get your hands cleaned of all the dirt and gunk that might have accumulated on your hands. It does not make your hands feel greasy post using it. It does hydrate your hands to a good extent, but nothing like a moisturizer can which scores a BROWNIE POINT from me especially because it contains alcohol! I hate when products dry my skin out making it look dull and patchy!

The scent varies according to the flavor, and I am in awe of how amazingly fruity these are. The best one according to me is definitely Strawberry, as I love how it makes my hands smell fresh for a long time. If you are looking something, that will take away the scent of onions from your hands post your kitchen duties, Lemon would get the job done. Green Apple smells like candy, Litchi is sweet as ever and orange is my dad’s favorite! He actually stole it from me!! The scent is similar to how the fruits originally smell but is definitely artificial! J Also, I love how it incorporates natural anti-bacterial ingredients such as Neem, Lime and Coriander which make it a win-win product!

Overall Verdict:  Overall, the Himalaya PureHands Hand Sanitizers are a great go-to product when you want your hands to be all tidy from bacteria and other viruses. Carry it around or use it at home post your chores, you will have sweet smelling hands for hours! This has become my favorite product and I recommend it to all you lovely readers! “Cleaner Hands Ensure a Healthier you” and Himalaya promises to do just that!
