I have been dealing with this issue for years, and to be honest I have always been lazy to do DIY’s when it comes to my body!!! I would just do anything to keep my face flawless though!! Anyway, dark underarms are a cause of various reasons, sometimes they are genetic, sometimes they are caused due to use of harsh chemicals in deodorants, using depilatory creams or shaving! Dark neck can be a cause of sun exposure, not taking proper care or pigmentation during pregnancy!!! Dark inner thighs, needless to say they are caused by friction while walking!! There maybe other reasons associated with these, but I have listed a few I know! 🙂
So what do you do??
I say RUN TO YOUR KITCHEN! Because beauty is where the kitchen is! Haha! Yes, your kitchen has the answer to all your beauty needs!! You will be surprised at the results and shocked that you never gave them a shot!! I am going to tell you two tricks to lighten those bad boys; go with the trick that works best for you! 🙂
#Quick Tip: Always do a patch test before trying out new ingredients on your skin!! You do not want to irritate your skin unnecessarily!!! Use the mask on your forearm first, wait for 15 minutes, if nothing happens, the concoction is safe to use on other parts of your body!!!
Trick 1: From Black to White!!
What you need?
1. Activated Charcoal Powder
How to make?
Take about one to two tea spoons of charcoal powder depending on the places you want to put it on!!! Add honey until it forms a nice paste!! Apply generously on all darkened areas and let it sit for about 20 minutes. Wash off and pat dry!! Cleaner and, whiter underarms will no longer be a dream!!!
#Quick Tip: Try to scrub your problem areas with a loofah every time you take a shower!! This helps a lot in lightening as well as getting rid of any ingrown hair!
Trick 2: From Creamy To White 🙂
What you need?
2. Baking Soda
3. Coconut Oil
How to make?
In a bowl, add about three heaping spoons of cornflour followed by a spoon full of baking soda, about a spoon of coconut oil and two tea spoons of milk!! Concoct nicely until it forms a nice creamy paste! put it on your problem areas and let it sit for a good thrity minutes!! wash off and moisturise! 🙂
Remember : Consistency is key!! Do this as often as possible because you wont see results in a day… I recommend doing this before a shower! 🙂
